Identify and draw the net of a triangular prism, rectangular prism, and cube.

Know the meaning of surface area

Find the surface area of a cube and of a rectangular prism

Homework for Tuesday, January 28th

Math 7 — CCLS Workbook page 206 # 1 & 2

Math 6 — CCLS Workbook page 223 # 7; page 226 # 15 and page 240 find the surface area of the rectangular pyramid. All of the measures are given to you in the book.

Math 6 test on Thursday.

Math 5 — Short quiz tomorrow on the classwork we did today and yesterday. 

Also:  Blue workbook page 59 # 4,5,9, 10 Do these in your notebook.

Homework for Wednesday, January 23rd

Math 8 — Review test questions # 2 and 5. Show all work and coordinate rules on the graph paper. This is a practice test for the test on Friday.

Math 7 — Review parallel lines and transversals, angles , to finish the test tomorrow.

Math 6 — CCLS Ready Workbook page 243 # 7 & 8 . All work in notebook AND workbook. Make sure to draw the net in your notebook.

Math 5 — Blue Workbook page 53 # 16, 17, 19, 23 in your workbook AND in your notebook. Make sure to show all work!

Homework for Thursday, January 16th

Math 8 — Buckle Down page 176 # 1, 3, 7

Math 7 — Test on Tuesday. Also, given measure of angle 1 = 40 degrees, and two parallel lines are crossed by a transversal, find the measures of all the other angles and provide reasons.

Do this in your notebook or on loose leaf.

The test covers all angles as well, including vertical, corresponding, alternate interior, and alternate exterior angles.
