The topic/aim is Proving That Two Ratios Form a Proportion
I will start class at 8:00 by asking you to respond to “Are you present?” You must respond by typing your name and then “Present.”  This will count for attendance on Option C.
The same rules for beginning of class also apply to Religion and Writing.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s class at 8:00 am.

RELIGION 6

We will be going over the days of The Triduum — But this time, I will be giving you notes which you will eventually need for a test (online). You will need your Religion workbook and, even though we didn’t use a notebook before, you will need to keep notes somewhere for Religion. (You can use part of your Writing notebook). We will also silently say prayers and offer intentions.  All work, questions, etc. are TYPED and shared with the class.
We will begin by reviewing, starting on page 236 in your workbook.
Class begins at 1:00 pm.  I will start class by asking you to respond to “Are you present?” You must respond by typing your name and then “Present.”
“Talk” to you tomorrow.

WRITING 6

I will start class at 2:00 by asking you to respond to “Are you present?”  You must respond by typing your name and then “Present.”  We will begin a NEW Persuasive Essay assignment.  This will be done piece-by-piece.  Tomorrow, you will use class time to complete the Brainstorming paper.  This part of the assignment will be due on Thursday.  Then on Thursday, you will start writing your draft. THINK about possible topics that people have strong opinions on, choose a side, and convince your audience that you are right.  You will need to use one internet resource to prove your point.  One example is the recent plastic bag ban.  In light of the current virus situation, should this stay in place, as people are now using their bags (which could have germs on them) from home?
No assignment is due tomorrow.  Just think about it.
Class is at 2:00 tomorrow.
