Drop –  are small amounts of liquid that fall in a round shape.

Excite –  make a person feel happy or eager.

Outdoors –  when something is outside and not inside a building.

Pale –  is a very light color.

Poetry Terms

Alliteration – words with the same beginning sound.

Antonym – words that are opposite.

Free verse – words that do not need to rhyme.

Repetition – when words or phrases are repeated.
