Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome back returning families, and a very warm welcome to the new families joining St. Helen Catholic Academy. Our classroom is a new environment for our Pre K-3 students to explore. This month we will discuss an “All About Me” theme as the children are getting to know their peers. We will also begin an Apple Theme and discuss the change in weather and everything that changes in the environment as Autumn approaches. We will begin our letter of the week, learning the sound the letter “A” makes and words that begin with the letter “A” sound. In Math we will begin with the number 0. We will begin practicing fine-motor skills as the children will begin tracing straight and zigzag lines. We will practice how to hold a crayon and pencil properly. The children will participate in exciting Art and Craft activities. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,
Ms. Martin
