HOMEWORK- WEEK OF DEC. 10th

CLASS NEWSLETTER- Week of December 1oth

This upcoming week will be hectic due to the fact that the classes are rehearsing for the Christmas Pageant.  I am not certain of the schedule for Wednesday as of yet, however I do know that we will not have classes on Thursday. The homework that I post should not be completed unless we have Spanish class and I specify it in class.

Spanish classes in Grades 5-7 are quite different from the Spanish classes that the students had in the previous grades. My classes focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking Spanish. We begin each class by reciting the Hail Mary in Spanish.

GRADE 5-  This past week the students presented their Google Slide Presentations to the entire class.  THEY ALL DID A WONDERFUL JOB! They worked hard over these past several weeks and it was shown in the quality of their work.  We will now begin to use the textbook and continue where we left off.

GRADE 6-  The students will begin to learn the idioms that are used with the verb “tener”.  We will completing worksheets and doing assignments in the textbook.

GRADE 7-  We will continue learning  the singular form conjugations of -ar verbs.  Using all the vocabulary, we will then begin to translate paragraphs and answering questions.

CLASS NEWSLETTER- Week of November 19th

Spanish classes in Grades 5-7 are quite different from the Spanish classes that the students had in the previous grades. My classes focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking Spanish. We begin each class by reciting the Hail Mary in Spanish.

GRADE 5-  This past week the students has been working diligently in their groups completing  their Google Slide presentation.  As I walk around the computer lab and monitor their progress, I am truly proud of each and every one of them.  They have put much work into this presentation.  I am hoping that by next week we may begin to share the presentations.  Please ask your child to see it! They were created in Google Slides so as long as you have access to the internet, you may see it.

GRADE 6-  The students had a test on the chapter on time last week.  We began the next chapter on parts of the body and the conjugations of the verb “tener”.  We will continue with this chapter when we get back from Thanksgiving Recess.

GRADE 7-  This past week we continued the chapter on school supplies, clothing, and colors.  The students also began to learn the singular form conjugations of -ar verbs.  Although this may be a review from last year, I will be spending time on this chapter.

THERE IS NO HOMEWORK FOR GRADES 5,6, 7 OVER THE THANKSGIVING BREAK.  HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING!
