Welcome to Mrs. Sama’s Spanish Class! This is the place to find Spanish homework for 5th, 6th and 8th grade students.  All classes are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Wednesday night’s homework will be due the next day.  Any homework assigned on a Thursday night is not due until the following Wednesday.  Homework assignments will be done either in your Spanish notebook or on looseleaf.  I will stipulate in the assignment where I want the homework to be done.

GRADE 5-  Complete the worksheet on making a sentence negative and changing statements to questions.

GRADE 6- Complete Activity C on page 251.  Write out Spanish and English meaning.

GRADE 7- Complete pages 26-27 in the workbook.

GRADE 8– Complete the worksheet handed out in class.

GRADE 5-  MON. – Complete Activity B numbers 6-10 on page 136.             WED. – Complete Activity C on pages 135-137.

GRADE 6- MON.– Write out the Spanish words and their meanings from pages 247-248.    WED. – Complete Activity A on page 249.

GRADE 7-  MON. – Complete page 24 Activity B in the workbook.    WED.– Complete Activity 18 on page 86.  Write out the entire paragraph and fill in the blanks with the correct words.

GRADE 8- MON. _ STUDY FOR TEST ON CHAPTER 8.  TEST IS WEDNESDAY.     WED. – Copy all the vocabulary words on pages 274-275.  All words in red and black must be defined in English.  Do not translate the sentences.

  I wish each and everyone of you a HAPPY A HEALTHY NEW YEAR!

GRADE 5-  The class will review the conjugations of -ar verbs and subject pronouns.  They will then learn how to ask a question in Spanish and how to make a sentence negative.  These are both fairly easy grammar rules.  The class will then learn the numbers from 0-30.

GRADE 6–  The class will begin the new year briefly reviewing time.  Then, the final topic on conjugations will be to learn the conjugations of -ir verbs.  This is the final conjugation grammar rule that the students will learn this year. 

GRADE 7– The class will begin the new year continuing with the singular conjugations of -ar verbs and the vocabulary pertaining to school supplies and clothing.

GRADE 8– The class will begin the new year reviewing your feelings and health and the verbs estar and ser.  The class will then begin to learn the preterite tense (past tense) and how to conjugate -ar verbs in the past tense while learning vocabulary pertaining to summer and winter sports.

GRADE 8- MON. – Complete the crossword puzzle pertaining to health.      WED. – STUDY FOR TEST ON CHAPTER 8 ON HEALTH. TEST WILL BE ON WED., JANUARY 15TH.
